This Privacy Policy explains how LePearl Education ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the LePearl Education mobile app and related services (the "App").

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, WhatsApp/phone number and password (passwords are stored in encrypted form).
• Google sign-in: if you choose "Continue with Google", we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access your Gmail, Drive or contacts.
• Learning data: courses you enrol in, test answers and scores, ranks, attendance in live classes, lectures and notes you complete, tasks and doubts you submit.
• Files you upload: photos or PDFs you attach to tasks or doubts.
• Payments: payment amount, status and payment reference. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we do not store them.
• Device data: basic technical information needed to run the App, such as app version and error logs.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and give you access to the courses you purchase.
• To show your tests, results, ranks, attendance and progress, and to calculate scholarships.
• To let teachers answer your doubts, check your tasks and track class progress.
• To process payments, send receipts and remind you about instalments and course validity.
• To send important emails and in-app notifications (for example, password reset codes, enrolment confirmation and class updates).
• To keep the App secure and improve it.

3. Who can see your information

• Your teachers and LePearl staff can see the learning data of students in the courses they teach or manage.
• Leaderboards show only your first name and score to other students of the same course.
• Service providers that run the App for us: Supabase (database, login and file storage), Razorpay (payments), Resend (email delivery), Google (sign-in) and Expo (app updates). They process data only to provide their services.
• We do not sell your personal information and we do not show third-party advertising.
• We may share information if required by law.

4. Data security and retention

Your data is stored on secure servers with access controls so that each student can see only their own data. We keep your information while your account is active. Course results and progress are kept even after a course expires, so you can continue if you renew.

5. Your choices and rights

• You can update your name and phone number in the App (Profile → Edit profile).
• You can ask us to delete your account and personal data by writing to admin@lepearleducation.com or on WhatsApp. We will complete the request within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law (such as payment records).
• You can remove LePearl access from your Google account at any time from your Google account settings.

6. Children

The App is meant for students preparing for higher-education and competitive exams. Users under 18 should use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will show the new date at the top and inform you in the App if the changes are important.
